1st Civil Military Operations Company headed by CPT BRAGANZA provided overt security during the Eid’l Adha prayer celebration of our Muslim brothers and sisters at the Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. The activity was held last 12 September 2016upon the request of the Quezon City Muslim Consultative Council headed by Hadji Jameel RM Jaymalin purposely to maintain peace and order and prevent threat groups from disrupting the event.
Personnel of Civil-Military Operations Battalion (NCR), Civil-Military Operations Group (CMOG), Philippine Army supports Anti-Drug Campaign Peace Rally and Slogan Contest at Brgy Tumana, Marikina City on 17 September 2016. This event with a theme dubbed as “TUMANA KONTRA DROGA” (Buhay, Kaligtasan at Kinabukasan ng Mamamayan ng Tumana) was participated by the Tumana Home Owners Association, the faculty and students of the Concepcion Integrated School (CIS) headed Mr. Alan Tubeo, H-Bautista Elementary School headed by Mr. Manuel B Franco, PC/Supt Romulo E Sapitula District Director EPD, and LGU, NGO & Civilian Sectors.
The 3rd Civil-Military Operations Company, Civil-Military Operations Battalion (NCR), Civil-Military Operations Group (CMOG), Philippine Army led by CPT ROMEL O ESTACIO (INF) PA facilitated the Distribution of Relief Goods consisting of five (5) kgs of rice and assorted goods with one (1) storage box to the 50 indigent Families at Brgy Tumana, Marikina City on 14 September 2016. The goods were donated by the Rotary Club of Manila represented by Mr Alvin Lacambakal and Mr George Watson. Also present during the activity were the members of the barangay council headed by Kagawad Cegeurra. The close partnership with the civilian sectors, brgy officials and men-in-uniform in the delivery of basic community services to the affected residents of said brgy resulted to the success of the event, thus in one way or another, this unit was able to promote the “Spirit of Bayanihan”.
Civil-Military Operations Battalion under CMO Group, Philippine Army and the JTF- NCR, AFP supports the Philippine National Police in the conduct of checkpoint operations, visibility patrols, and security of vital installations ICOW the declaration of “State of Lawlessness” and the AFP’s Full Alert status.
On 03 September 2016, personnel of the CMO Battalion in partnership with the Passion for Christ Nationwide Ministries Inc. headed by Sis. Nenita P Cunanan provided another health care services to the indigent residents of Brgy. Lunsad, Binangonan, Rizal. Free medical and dental services including massage benefitted 834 individuals. This achievement would be impossible without the participation of doctors, dentists, therapists and volunteers from the Army General Hospital, AFP Medical Center (V-Luna), 1362 Dental Dispensary, ASH, 2ID, PA, I Learn Center, and LGUs.
